This Minecraft build is surely a blast from the past, but not like most castles or villages. It pays homage to the architectural styles of late 19th century America and features wraparound porches and balconies, lots of windows, and as many flowers as possible. The green coloring works perfectly with the slate roof and marble trim.

Best of all, players won’t have to worry about keeping plant life watered, thanks to Minecraft’s game mechanics.

9) Geometric Cubic House

A house with incredibly modular rooms, this build is mostly made of smooth quartz. Each bedroom is compartmentalized, with color-tinted glass in its windows. The pieces are all 7 x 7 in size, remaining equal while stacked at an angle when viewed from the outside.

This house almost looks like something from the spirit of Andy Warhol, being colorful and simplistic yet very attractive nonetheless.

Aquariums are wonderfully relaxing in Minecraft, so why not incorporate one into a home design?

This build from SheepGG uses quartz for a modern look but sports a large water tank on the outside. Inside, players can find various forms of aquatic life, including seagrass, kelp, and of course, several varieties of fish. The tank itself may be too small for the likes of axolotls or turtles, but there are no rules stating that players cannot make their aquatic tank much larger as a result.

7) Modern Underwater House

Its location keeps most hostile mobs away (barring the drowned), and having a home among the waves is certainly pleasing to the eyes and ears. Wraparound windows allow players to see everything underwater while still being well-lit inside and comfortable enough for players to call home.

Classic Japanese architecture is some of the most unique in the world, and that translates to Minecraft as well.

This construction includes a huge traditional garden with a pond and very comfortable lighting. Plenty of greenery ensures that this construction fits just as well in a mountain range as it does in a forest. The house is simple but still beautiful in form and useful in function. With a few shaders installed, Minecraft players can enjoy a sublime existence in this house.

For cooler biomes, players might want to give this luxurious house a look. Constructed mostly from easily accessible wooden blocks, this build is nonetheless elaborate in its construction and will take time. However, it does have multiple rooms and the amenities that Survival Mode players might need.

An outdoor porch is well lit and makes a perfect spot for some fireside time, even in those cold biomes. Large windows allow players to see the outside world, and if this house is built in the right place, it can lead to some truly magnificent views.

Players will likely need to chop down a small forest to make building all the wooden blocks easier, but it’s incredibly sturdy as a protective fortress.
