5 Best Swamp House Models to Build in Minecraft 1.19 Update

0

The Minecraft swamp biome recently received an exciting addition. Update 1.19 or “The Wild Update”, launched on June 7, introduced a new biome to the game called the Mangrove Biome.

This biome makes the in-game swamp a much more attractive area to explore, especially with the newly added mobs of frogs hopping around the place. Swamps are usually found in the hottest regions of the map, mostly near deserts and jungle biomes.

Minecraft 1.19: Top 5 Building Ideas for Aspiring Swamp House Builders in The Wild Update

1) Mangrove Hut

This construction consists of a small cozy house located in the middle of a custom-made swamp. The house is almost entirely made of blocks that were added in the new Minecraft update.

The walls are made of mud bricks, with packed mud being used in a few places. Hatches are used as window shutters, while mangrove genes have been used as decorative items. The roof is made of mangrove trees and mud brick slabs.

The construction also includes a mangrove tree next to the house and mangrove leaves as decoration. The custom swamp has many trails that lead to solid ground.

2) Mud and mangrove house

While this Minecraft design isn’t swamp-based, it certainly can be. The construction consists of a large cottage type house mostly made using the new 1.19 blocks.

The majority of this construction uses mangrove and oak wood slabs, planks, stairs, trapdoors, and mud blocks.

Stripped mangrove logs can be seen in the roof design. A ton of different leaf blocks were used for decoration, along with weeping vines, hanging roots, lanterns, and iron bars.

3) 1.19 swamp base

This beautiful Minecraft swamp house sits in the middle of a regular swamp biome. The main living structure has two levels.

The lower level is made of mud bricks, packed mud, mud brick stairs, and mud brick slabs. The windows use mangrove hatches and the doors are made of mangrove wood.

The upper level is made using different types of wooden blocks, including oak and mangrove. It also has a balcony lit with lanterns.

Mangrove logs are used to craft pillars for the entire structure. The build also has a catwalk that players can use to enter the house without entering the water. The roof is made of deep slate tile slabs and also features thatched blocks.

4) Marsh Cabin

This aesthetic swamp cottage build is an older build inspired by the Minecraft 1.19 update. The roof of this construction is made entirely of spruce slabs. It also has a black stone and black stone brick fireplace.

The walls and main structure are constructed with oak planks, oak slabs, oak logs, oak fencing, oak and spruce hatches. They are decorated with vines and leaf blocks.

5) Swamp Village

This Minecraft build consists of not just a house, but an entire custom-built village built on top of a swamp. It serves as an example of what a swamp village might look like in the Wild update.

The houses of the village are made of raw bricks. Their floors and roofs are made from mangrove wood blocks like planks, slabs, pickled wood and more.

All furniture in the building is also made from mangrove wood, such as doors, “chairs” (mangrove stairs) and more. Other features include the mangrove fences used for animal enclosures and the house being much larger than normal village houses.
