Underwater Mountain House, Modern Mountain Mansion and 5 other top rated mountain house designs for Minecraft version 1.19
1) Indoor mountain house
This Minecraft house keeps traveling around the mountain itself to a minimum. The entire house is built inside the mountain, with modular rooms and large windows for the outside. Inside is everything a player could possibly need, including their survival essentials like crafting blocks and storage chests.
The house is also easily accessible from the base of the mountain, ensuring that players won’t need to cross any walkways or scaffolding to get to their house.
2) Hanging mountain house
If players want an unconventional house design in Minecraft, this is definitely fine. The house starts inside the mountain but branches out and hangs down.
Although it may seem a bit cramped, this house is surprisingly spacious and has everything a Survival gamer needs. This outward-facing design also allows for expansion if players choose, especially since the laws of gravity don’t apply to many building blocks in Minecraft.
3) Underwater Mountain House
Although Minecraft mountain houses are often built towards the peaks, this design takes an alternate path. Specifically, this house is built at the foot of a mountain submerged under water. It’s a smaller design, but it’s also fairly easy to build, thanks to its low material cost.
The glass panels at one end of the house overlook the seabed, which can provide a nice view. This is especially true if players are building this house in a warm ocean, as there are likely more than a few aquatic mobs swimming around.
4) Mountain village house
When building a house on a mountain, why stop at just one? Minecraft players can use this build to bring their friends.
Each house is similar in size to a village house and they are aligned along the entire face of a mountain. Players who place a few work blocks in buildings can even bring villagers to live there.
Granted, getting them there can be a little tricky, but it’s far from impossible. Just be careful where you step, as some of these houses don’t exactly have railings.
5) Natural mountain house
Minecraft players who like extra greenery should love this design. It keeps faith with traditional mountain interior homes, but features a proliferation of vines and leaf blocks to accentuate the entry.
The house even has a small fishing pond with water lilies. It might not even be a bad idea to keep a frog or two in that quiet pond.
Granted, if players don’t care about the new Minecraft 1.19 mobs, they might want to stick with fishing or keep a small tank of fish mobs or axolotls.
6) Modern Mountain Mansion
Modern mansions aren’t cheap to build, but they look spectacular when finished. This build is a perfect example of that, and it stays raised up the side of the mountain.
The views players can capture from the porches of this mansion are magnificent. There’s even a nice body of water below for a player’s fishing or swimming needs.
Featuring a unique geometric design and even an outdoor fireplace, this house design can be a long-term option for players who manage to complete it.
7) Waterfall Mountain House
For gamers who want a nice and functional home, this design is a complete package. The materials aren’t the easiest to get hold of, but players can’t dispute the results.
Water flows endlessly through the window panes, providing a sight but still providing a comforting sound of rushing water. The entrance is placed at the foot of the mountain for easy access as well.
It’s arguably one of the longest housing projects in 1.19, but it’s worth every block invested.
