Ministry of Defense ready to help build house in Iran

Iranian Roads Minister Rostam Qassemi on Saturday paid a visit to the “Industrial Construction Factory”, belonging to the Defense Ministry.

During the visit, Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani said the factory manufactures prefabricated steel buildings with modern technologies on an industrial scale.

Expressing the willingness of the Ministry of Defense to help the Ministry of Roads in housing projects, the general said that the average age of new buildings has increased from 30 to 100 years.

Buildings constructed with the new method are resistant to strong earthquakes and can be completed in just six months, six times faster than ordinary methods, he added.

“The Ministry of Defense is ready to provide other institutions and organizations in charge with the technology of industrial building construction. We have the ability to establish such factories anywhere and with the necessary capacity,” noted the Minister of Defense.

In September 2016, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, presented the general policies on the family, known as the cornerstone of Islamic society.

In the document, Ayatollah Khamenei said that all plans, regulations, educational and cultural programs as well as social and economic projects – especially the housing system and urban development – should pay special attention to the family.
